Most people play online games because they’re great fun and relaxing. If that was false, all those millions would do something else. We’re sure you know some people are very good while others – mmm, not so good. But that’s true as it applies mostly to people new to it or those who don’t do it much. No worries, though, because most people get a clue fairly quickly. If you’re leftie, try to get a mouse for left-handed people because eventually you’re going to need it. What we want to do now is discuss a few proven tips and tricks for more victorious online gaming.
If you are left handed then you are definitely going to want to buy one of the left handed mouses that are available. Ambidextrous keyboards are also available. This is a keyboard that comes in two parts so that you can shift it around to suit your needs. There are gaming keyboards as well, and you can even find one that ‘s made specifically for left-handers. The more specialized keyboards can be expensive, but they will give you an advantage when you play, so you have to decide if it’s worth the cost. An adequate net connection speed will help. It is hard to have fun if you are trying to play an online game with a dial up internet connection. We’re not quite sure what to tell you if you have an old, slow PC – do something to upgrade. Check out what you need to optimally do your gaming with the greatest advantages and rewards. If you are unsure about your computer’s ability (or the internet connection’s ability) to keep up, check the specs of the game. Be careful because you won’t be happy if you buy, install, and then it’s not working as it should.
Don’t be too shy to ask people to help you out. No question about feeling weird if you’ve never played with a leftie mouse and the shortcuts thing. Ask a left handed veteran of the game for help on the mechanics of playing. Even if you’re not a bad player, or if you’re good, it’s a smart idea to ask people for any good advice. Lots of experienced players enjoy teaching “noobs” how to be better players. When you’re no longer a n00b, you will do the same to others and help them.
Online games are designed and intended to be fun for all. Your fun will begin to decrease if you get too wrapped up in it and take things too personally.
More importantly, if you act like a brat, the other people in your game won’t have any fun either and nobody will want to play anymore. As always… if you’re a lefty, there’s so much more to online gaming than having that whiz-bang left-handed mouse. Get your left-handed mouse, if you need one, and have fun.
